Is this text to speech free?
You can try it for free. New accounts get free tokens, and you do not need a card. Confirm your email, then make your first clip. A clip of up to 1,000 characters costs 30 tokens. When you need more, plans start at $19, paid one time, and yearly plans are 20% off. It works online in your browser, so there is no app to download.
What is AI text to speech?
You type words and an AI voice reads them out loud. You get an audio file you can play and download. On Enhance AI every voice is made by ElevenLabs Eleven v3. You do not need an ElevenLabs account.
How many voices can I pick from?
41 voices. Men and women, young and old, with American, British and Australian accents, plus a few character voices. Tap play on any voice in the studio to hear it before you use it.
How long can my text be?
Up to 5,000 characters in one clip. The price goes up with length: 30 tokens up to 1,000 characters, 55 up to 2,000, 80 up to 3,000, 105 up to 4,000 and 130 up to 5,000. For a longer script, split it into parts and make each part on its own.
What file do I get?
An MP3 file. There is no WAV option. Every clip is saved in your library in the studio, where you can play it again or download it. Download the clips you want to keep, because older clips in the library can expire.
Can I change the speed or pitch?
There is no pitch control. The player in the studio plays your clip at 0.5x to 2x speed, but the MP3 you download is at normal speed. Two settings change the voice itself: Similarity, and Stability, which you can set to More variable, Balanced or More stable.
Can I make funny text to speech?
Yes. Try Clyde, a cartoon character voice, or Mimi and Jessica, two playful American voices. Write the lines the way you would say them out loud. If a line does not sound right, change a few words and make it again.
Does it work for TikTok text to speech and Instagram Reels?
Yes. Make your voice over here, download the MP3 and add it to your video in TikTok, Instagram or any video editor. Liam and Jessica are good voices to start with for short videos.
Can I make Spanish text to speech?
Yes. Type your text in Spanish and the voice reads it in Spanish. Many other languages work the same way. Some voices sound better in some languages than others, so make a short test first.
Is there a robot voice?
There is no robot voice. The closest is Eric, a smooth voice made for AI assistants. For a cartoon sound, try Clyde.
Can I use the audio in my videos or for my business?
Yes. You own the clips you make and can use them for personal or commercial work, like videos, ads and client work. You are responsible for how you use them.
What happens if a clip fails?
Your tokens come back on their own, and the clip is marked as failed in your library. You do not pay for a clip that does not finish.
